The Wedding Website of Keng Pharupon and Becky Goncharoff

The wedding location is on Keng's family farm, Nanuanchun Farm, in Somdet, Kalasin. Somdet is a small town in Kalasin province in Northeast Thailand. The closest airports are Khon Kaen International Airport, Roi Et Airport, and Sakhon Nakhon Airport. Somdet is an 1.5-2 hr drive from each of these. Most guests will find it convenient to travel via Khon Kaen, which has the most flights per day from Bangkok (and one from Chiang Mai). There are also many rental car companies at KKC Airport. We have booked out two small resorts (not listed here) for some of our Kentucky guests to help with transportation to and from Khon Kaen, as well as to the wedding. (Becky will reach out to you once you've RSVP'd if we have already have a room for you.) Booking local hotels in Thailand is often best by going directly through the property, either over LINE, a phone call, or Facebook. If you are struggling to do this at any point, just reach out to Becky and she'll help you book.

Travel Note

Notes on Transportation

The wedding is in a small town and having private transportation will be helpful. If you're comfortable renting a car, that's our recommendation and it'd be great if you can carpool with other guests. It's also possible to book a car to bring you to Somdet from Khon Kaen for around $60 USD. We will have a couple of vans and trucks to help with transportation to and from the farm and hotels from the 18-19 if you prefer not to drive. We will have songtaews (local covered trucks with benches in the back) to help shuttle people back to their hotels after the party the evening of the 19th to keep people safe after imbibing on sato :).
