Reagan National Airport (DCA)

DCA is an international airport just outside the city line of DC in Arlington, VA. It is a metro accessible airport with it's own station (Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Blue and Yellow Line). The metro station is directly outside the airport terminals, well marked and with a covered walking area.

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles is an international airport about 25 miles outside DC in northern Virginia. It has its own metro station (Washington Dulles International Airport Metrorail Station, Silver Line). The metro station is located next to the main terminal parking lot.

Train

Amtrak - Union Station, DC

DC is also accessible via Amtrak. This is a popular option for those traveling along the Northeast Regional service area. The train station is located in downtown DC and is directly integrated into the DC metro system, located in the same building structure. The metro stop is Union Station (Red Line).

Metro Information

The wedding venue (Woodend Nature Sanctuary) is 2.8 miles from the Bethesda metro station (Red Line). Bethesda has ample hotel and dining options so if you would like to stay close to the venue and a metro station for downtown access, that is a great option. With transfers, Bethesda is accessible to both the Dulles Airport and DCA National Airport. If you prefer to avoid renting a car for this trip, there are reliable public transportation options available to you. Please contact the bride or groom if you have questions.
