There are two options - DFW and Love Field (DAL). Love Field (DAL) is a smaller airport and Southwest hub. About 45 minutes away from Fort Worth. DFW is a much larger airport, has all other major airlines and is an American Airlines hub. 25-30 mins away from Fort Worth.

October is hands down the best month for weather in Dallas. It can range from very hot (90s) to a perfect 75 and sunny. Your guess is as good as ours! Peak heat usually lands around 5pm.
