Chris and Hannah’s story began the way all great love stories do… with cupcakes and hockey. Chris was, of course, at a hockey game when he first messaged Hannah after seeing her delicious baked creations. What started as a simple message about cupcakes quickly turned into something much more. From the very first conversation, Chris was drawn to Hannah’s warm smile and the beauty in her eyes. As they talked about her baking skills and her dream of one day opening her own little cupcake shop, the conversations flowed effortlessly — as if these two had known each other for years. Their first date took place at Wolfey’s, where Hannah graciously looked past Chris’ very silly moustache. That night, which Chris still has the receipt from, marked the beginning of something undeniable. The date turned into many more, with neither of them wanting to wait long before seeing the other again. Chris even “accidentally” left his cinnamon hand sanitizer at Hannah’s house — an obvious excuse to see her again that Hannah happily accepted. As time went on, their connection grew deeper. Movie nights became a favorite, and Chris never forgot Hannah’s favorite movie, A League of Their Own, or candy, Berry Gummy Lifesavers. What started as a beautiful friendship slowly and naturally turned into something more — something meaningful, comforting, and full of love that both Chris and Hannah would come to cherish deeply. Before long, Hannah began bringing Chris around to meet her friends and family, starting with what else but a hockey game at Browns Stadium. Chris knew he wanted to make things official in a special way, but Hannah had other plans. On St. Patrick’s Day, she took matters into her own hands and simply asked Chris to be her boyfriend — a moment perfectly fitting for the two of them. Fast forward to September of 2024, when Chris devised an elaborate plan to propose. He created six poster boards filled with favorite memories and photos from their relationship and lined their driveway with them, forcing Hannah to park on the street. As she walked up the driveway, Chris was waiting for her. He walked her through each board, reliving the moments that shaped their love, and shared that there had never been any doubt in his mind that she was the one. There was only one question left to ask: Will you marry me? Hannah, of course, said yes. They embraced in one of the most special moments of their lives — or so they thought. The surprises weren’t over yet. Chris brought Hannah to her dad’s house, where she discovered that all of their family and friends were waiting to celebrate their engagement. It was a night filled with love, joy, and happy tears — one neither of them will ever forget. While that was the most special moment of their lives at that point, there was still one more incredible blessing yet to come. Chris always knew Hannah would transition seamlessly into motherhood when the time came — but little did they know that time would come sooner than expected. In July of 2025, Chris and Hannah found out that their dreams of becoming parents and starting a family were coming true. In March of 2026, they will welcome a beautiful baby boy into their lives. This little boy will be surrounded by unconditional love, laughter, and happiness, and will make both Hannah and Chris happier than they ever imagined possible. He is already beyond loved and is the greatest blessing they could have ever dreamed of. Together, Chris and Hannah are building a life rooted in love, friendship, and family — and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.
