Carytown
Henry and I met for the first time right outside of Galaxy Diner. Every time we come back to Richmond, we walk up and down Cary Street exploring the shops and restaurants!
Maymont Park
Henry and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here! It was May 2020, so we needed an outdoor environment where we could socially distance from others. We recommend packing a picnic, visiting the animals, and walking through the Japanese garden.
Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
The VMFA has an incredible permanent collection as well as a rotating special exhibit, so locals and visitors can find something new and exciting! Henry and I recommend grabbing a glass of wine and a bite to eat at their Amuse Restaurant after exploring the museum.
Live Music
Richmond has so many different music venues to choose from. For classier, clean vibes, visit Révéler or The National. If you are like Henry and want to explore the underground scene, visit The Camel or The Canal Club. We also love visiting The Broadberry and the Get Tight Lounge!
