Please submit your RSVP no later than July 1st. This will ensure an accurate guest count for our vendors in a timely manner!
We are asking our guests to please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Please take this time to take a few pictures, say "hi" to other guests, and find a seat. We will start our ceremony promptly at 3pm!
We kindly ask that all phones be put away as we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We want our guests to be fully present with us! We have a wonderful photographer and videographer to capture the entire day. Feel free to take plenty of pictures and videos during the reception!
We recommend parking close to the chapel and driving to the reception space following the ceremony. The reception space has ample parking right next to it. The chapel is indicated as #134 on the map, with nearby parking lots indicated as U21, U17, and U14. https://www.richmond.edu/visit/maps/print/parkingmap.pdf You can use Google maps or the Maps app on iPhones and plug in "Jepson Alumni Center" to get to the reception space.
While there’s no strict dress code, we understand that having guidelines can ease some stress. We recommend semi-formal to formal attire—think summer garden party! Dresses can range from just above the knee to floor-length. Suit jackets are suggested but not required. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors with ample AC.
Due to limited seating, we cannot have all of our guests bring a Plus One. Your invitation will indicate all invited guests. Our wedding is an 18+ event (minus a few family members!)
Yes! Rather than a sit-down dinner, we will have drinks and heavy Hor d'Oeuvres available throughout the entirety of the reception. This way, our guests can choose what they want, when they want!
We are registered on Crate and Barrel and Zola. Both registries can be found on our website or a simple Google search! Please remember to mark a gift as “purchased” on the Zola registry!
