Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Probably. You can likely Uber from the airport to Sisters and stay in town, which is very walkable. However, if you plan to explore Central Oregon or visit nearby sights, we recommend renting a car.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors in a meadow at the ranch. Afterward, we'll celebrate with a reception that offers both beautiful outdoor spaces and the warmth and comfort of the restaurant indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We will see! It can range from quite warm to quite cold. But in general, October is one of our favorite times of year in Central Oregon! You can typically expect sunny days with temperatures in the 60s, with colder mornings and evenings. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a jacket for later in the evening.

Dress code for wedding?

Answer

We'd love for our guests to dress in semi-formal to formal attire. For the guys, think suits or sport coats with dress pants and a button-down shirt. For the ladies, cocktail or floor-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all great choices. Ties are welcome but not required. Our ceremony will be in a field, so we recommend choosing footwear that's comfortable on grass and dirt. Block heels, wedges, boots, or dress shoes with a sturdy sole are all great options.

Are there children?

To keep our celebration intimate, our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of our son, Jack, and our flower girl. Thank you for understanding!
