Take I-45 until it ends and you will run right into the entrance for Stewart beach. There is a small fee for parking but it's the most family-friendly beach on the island. They have showers to rinse off at after you get out, restrooms, and a small gift and snack shop.
This is a big tourist attraction and a lot of fun. There is SO much to do. Check out the website because they usually have free concerts in the summer. If you go for a concert, get there early because it does get crowded. Our favorite part is going to pet and feed the stingrays for $5!
This is hands-down our favorite mexican restaurant. Make sure you get the queso!
This place is SO FUN and great family hang out. It’s an outdoor food truck park. There’s always different food trucks and activities so check out the website to see what’s going on. It’s extremely kid friendly too. They even have a bar with good beer and wines!
This place is so fun and the rum is fantastic! Alex and I love it and the tours are pretty cheap too.
This is where Alex and I had our second date. The burgers will make your mouth water.

They are ALWAYS adding more to this mall. There’s plenty of food and shopping options. Also, Dave N’ Busters and the Star cinema grill are a favorite.
Because what girl doesn’t love some good shopping deals?
Located on the first floor of the historic Moody Mansion!
If you decide to tour moody mansion, make sure you invite Becca because despite living here her entire life it is STILL on her bucket list.
You don’t need to stop at this location specifically, but you do need to stop at a whataburger while you’re in Texas. We Texans are very proud of it.
Shipley’s is another Texas place we are very proud of. Make sure you get a Kolache if you’ve never had one!

Another place that's still on Becca's list to tour.

We ate here the night we got engaged. The food is delicious. Even if you don't want to eat here, make sure you stop and take a picture with the "Greetings from Galveston" mural,
I've never been here, but I've heard good things. Be sure to check their website or call before you go to make sure they aren't closed for a special event.
Want to step inside to get away from the heat for a minute? You can eat a full meal at the rainforest cafe, but if you want to keep it cheap and avoid a crowd I recommend going in the afternoon for a snack. Order a “volcano” it’s a fun experience and enough for 4 adults to split!
