We’re getting hitched!

Becca’s version: “Like a true modern couple we met online. We chatted a short while on the app and then, ever the impatient feminist, I asked Mitch if he wanted to go on a date. Thankfully he agreed, and we met for pizza and drinks at South Park Tavern in Dayton. We quickly realized that there was something exciting between us, the conversation felt easy and inviting. Even from that first encounter, Mitch made me feel free to be myself. A limit I definitely tested during our date; moaning while eating pizza (the first carbs I had eaten in months!) and even confessing how much I hated dating. Mitch was kind, honest, warm, and engaging. His smile had me hooked! I knew then that he was a man worth knowing, that he was someone truly special. I often reflect on that amazing and genuine first date and feel so lucky to be engaged to the man of my dreams.” Mitch’s version: “We had both been on dating sites for a while at the time we found each other. We talked for a week or two before she asked me out, for which I am eternally grateful. We met up at a local pizza joint in Dayton for her first carbs in a few months. I remember being totally smitten by the open and honest conversations we had and the way her eyes sparkled in the bar. She was beautiful, strong, funny, and cared passionately. And I loved it. I drove back to Bradford at the end of the night, feeling energized and excited about where this could go. I don’t think it was even a day after before we had our next date scheduled. And the rest is history.”
