Things to Do In Chicago

The Wedding Website of Becca Pirrie and Freddie Brock
For out-of-towners, here are some of our favorite things to do (and eat) in Chicago.
Entertainment: Second City Main Stage

Entertainment: Second City Main Stage

1616 North Wells Street, Chicago, IL 60614

Our favorite thing to do in Chicago is to catch a comedy show! Second City has some great options.

Dinner: Duck Duck Goat

Dinner: Duck Duck Goat

857 West Fulton Market, Chicago, IL 60607

Duck Duck Goat is one of Top Chef Stephanie Izard's restaurants. It's inspired Chinese-American food: Would highly recommend the Hongshao Ro (red braised pork belly and mandarin pancakes). You'll want to make a reservation ahead of time for this one.

Tourism: Millennium Park

Tourism: Millennium Park

Chicago, IL 60602

If this is your first time in Chicago, Millennium Park is where you can see Cloud Gate (The Bean) and Crown Fountain. There are also gardens, artwork, skating, and events to explore here.

Food: Fulton Market District

Chicago, IL

"Chicago’s intersection of food, design, commerce, arts, and culture." Anywhere we've eaten in Fulton Market has been incredible. If love you mediterranean food, Aba is a great spot.

Activity: Riverwalk

Chicago, IL 60601

This is a 1.25-mile-long pedestrian path along the south bank of the Chicago River, and one of our favorite ways to get some fresh air when we're visiting the city. It runs from Lake Michigan to Lake Street with plenty of attractions and architecture to view along the way.
