Don’t worry - if you have a significant other we’ve most likely taken them into account. If we’ve somehow missed or forgotten about them, please let us know! We definitely don’t want you to leave your better half at home!
For those of you coming from afar (anywhere outside the borders of Vermont), we’re happy to host your whole family (including the little ones!). If you’re local, we kindly request that you leave your young ones with a friend or a sitter!
We’re working hard on finding a location willing to host 50+ rowdy restaurant people at midnight on a Saturday night. As soon as we find a location, we’ll update this page
Yes! We’ll be providing shuttle buses to and from Hotel Vermont, the Hampton Inn and the Residence Inn. If you live locally and would like not to drive (we don’t recommend driving!), please let us know and we’ll make sure to save space for you on one of the shuttles.
The wedding (the ceremony and the reception) are both taking place at Maquam Barn and Winery in Milton, VT. Milton is in Chittenden County, about 20 minutes north of downtown Burlington
Working on it! As soon as the registry is live you’ll be able to find it here
Hopefully perfect! In all likelihood the weather in early September will still be summer-like, albeit with slightly cooler evenings. Expect high temperatures during the day of 75-80 degrees (22-25 Celsius) and evening lows around 60 (15 C). Rain up here in the north is always a possibility, so bring an umbrella or a raincoat just incase (the wedding will be happening, rain or shine!). Mosquitoes are also somewhat busy in early September so bring insect repellent if you plan on spending any time outdoors!
Yes! Check the Travel and Lodging page for more details. Keep in mind that most of the blocks (and therefore the discounted rates) are only available until mid July
Semi-formal attire is recommended - for men, think suits or blazers + slacks with button down shirts (ties optional!) and for women, think midi/cocktail dresses or rompers. We don’t get to dress up often in VT, let’s get fancy for this! As long as there is no rain in the forecast, we will be getting married outside in the vineyard. For those of you planning on wearing heels, may we recommend wedges and block heels over stilettos?
Our menu is very veg-friendly, given that it’s the best time of year in VT for local produce. We will also have multiple options for gluten-free folks. The menu is kosher-style (no pork, shellfish or meat/dairy combos) but not kosher. If you’re concerned, please reach out and let us know!
The ceremony will be around 30 minutes, followed by an hour of cocktails and appetizers. The reception will begin at 6 PM and will be done at 11. This will include dinner and lots of dancing!
