FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we’ve listed here, please reach out to anyone listed on our wedding party page.
Question

Can I bring a card or a gift?

Answer

Please know that your presence is the best gift you could provide. Please do not feel obligated to give anything else. But should you feel inclined, we are very much looking forward to a honeymoon and any contribution towards that will always be sincerely appreciated and can be found on our registry tab.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night (and weekend) off!

Question

What does parking look like?

Answer

The property does have a space designated for parking; however, it is small, so we do recommend car-pooling if you are driving yourself.

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

No. We have received many different messages from friends and family who prefer to stay together in rentals, or who will be staying in various locations other than the Marriott, so we have elected not to reserve a block of rooms. There are MANY large beach houses to rent if you’d like to stay in group, as well as, other beautiful hotel chains throughout the Tampa Bay Area if you are planning to stay for a long, relaxing weekend.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Formal transportation has not been arranged, but Uber/Lyft are readily available. The roads are dark at night and winding, so please be smart. Don't drink and drive!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Smart casual (no jeans, please). We want you to feel comfortable, so if those heels are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
