Short story: Fate Long story: Becca was best friends with Nick Dekeyser in NC. Nick's mom (Susan) really liked Becca when they met. When Nick's active duty contract (Army) ended, he moved back home to Cape Coral, FL. Becca moved to Tampa, FL shortly after. Nick had grown up with Drew, but Becca never knew this. At Drew's birthday dinner in 2016, Nick's mom convinced him to add Becca on Facebook and in turn she forced Becca to accept this strange boy's request. Drew didn't talk to Becca for a whole year after that, but when he finally did.. boom. Fireworks!

That night they went to dinner, and then left for the comedy club to see their first stand-up comedian. After, they waited in line for 45+ mins to meet Dan Cummins, Drew decides "Hey I don't want to go home yet, lets go to downtown." Becca begins to panic because he wouldn't tell her why. Drew surprised her with an electric scooter ride through Tampa. Becca is wearing a cute little blue dress, and at first this was fine, until she realized all of Tampa got a show of her butt when the wind caught it just right - then she was very, very angry (not at him just in general) and wanted to go home. Before she stomped back to drop the scooter off, she had to pee, and marched to the bathroom (still angry). They ended at Sparkman Wharf (super cool place), where he made a final attempt to get her attention, said her full name, and dropped to a knee. She thought he was joking, realized he wasn't, immediately cried, and said "YES!" We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you soon!
