Wedding Party

Meet the wonderful family and friends that are standing by us on our big day.

Stephanie Bonica-Leahu

Matron of Honor

"Best friends and wombmates --even though she was evicted before I moved in-- Steph and I have been a dynamic duo from day one. The two of us enjoy coffee shop dates, fighting over the clothes in our closets (and making up over trips to Target), art days, and taking pictures of her baby." - Becca

Sienna Leahu & Dagny Rikhlyuk

Babies of Honor

Officially dubbed the two cutest nieces of all time, Sienna and Dagny will be gracing the bridal party with their presence, chubbiness, and adorability.

Abigail Matney

Bridesmaid

"Abi and I met at around 2 am in the lobby of our freshman year dorm hall as I was studying for an Old Testament class she came out to shush me. Instead of shushing, Abi stuck around for the rest of the night laughing, talking, and emotionally supporting me for my final exam. The rest is history." - Becca

Ryan Anderson

Best Man

"Ryan and I met in the third grade. I was a newer kid in the school, so we didn't really become friends until about a year later, and slowly progressed until we got to high school and formed a top notch friendship. Ry and I work great in a wood shop together, know more about each other than basically anyone else does, and love each other more than bros probably should." - Angus

Kendra Luksch

Bridesmaid

"Since Sunday School in the third grade, Kenz has always been a faithful friend --from secondary school to freshman year college roommates, to now and everything in between (including awkward phases, (my) teen angst, and every cringy thing about growing up you could think of) she's always stuck around. Our favorite activities include watching Anastasia too many times to count, taking way too many naps, eating too much Panera, encouraging each other to buy more clothes than we need (and then sharing closets accordingly), and making puns. All of the puns." - Becca

Vladimir Rikhlyuk

Groomsman

"Vlad came around almost 8 years ago when he started dating my sister, Ellery. From then, it took me about 6 of those 8 years to get to know him and build a solid relationship with him. In the past two years, Vlad has become a great person to hang out with and talk about politics, finances, work, and the world. He always opens his home to me to spend time with him when I'm nearby on a job, and he makes some mean food." - Angus

Gugulethu Ndlovu

Bridesmaid

"Googs and I have known each other since high school and spent years in the same small group at our church. Once we made it to college, we began spending more time together, were able to get to know each other more, and really started forming a beautiful friendship. Our sophomore year, we ended up living together and I learned how supportive, kind, and absolutely hilarious she actually is. Whether it's a quick lunch or hours driving home together, every interaction with her is a massive blessing that leaves my heart full. Some of our favorite things include trips to Taco Bell or Chipotle, deep conversations, and watching/talking about shows and movies we've been watching." - Becca

Josh Stevens

Groomsman

"Josh and I met when I had chicken pox as a kid, and his mom brought him over to have a chicken pox party and share in the fun. From chicken pox to minecraft to running tech at church to blowing things up in the backyard, Josh and I have developed a very productive friendship. He's a great person to go to for all the nerd stuff and he's always there to either get a job done or waste a day away (in the best way)." -Angus "He also has a really cute chinchilla!" - Becca

Gianni Ortiz

Bridesmaid

"I met G in the eighth grade on a bus headed towards our church's winter camp. We immediately bonded over a magazine with Harry Styles plastered on the cover, gushing over pop culture and spending the rest of the weekend being classic teenagers. Over the years, we've only gotten closer --spending days at a time together doing everything and nothing, hours on end talking, laughing, and crying together, and becoming a part of one another's families. From teens to twenties, she's been through it all and is always there for me, whether it be running errands together, shopping trips, or late night chicken fries and bubble tea runs. Also, special shoutout to her pup, Ralphie, who is the sweetest 130lb pitbull you'll ever meet (and who is convinced that he's actually a small child)." - Becca

Nik Todorovic

Groomsman

"Nik and I have been neighbors and friends for as long as I can remember. As kids, we built forts in the local forest preserve, kept up with wild gardens, and built bike ramps wherever we could. Throughout high school we traveled across the burbs and found the best skate parks around, spending our days bmx-ing (Becca would like to note that this was without a helmet and would terrify her). To this day, we still love a good bike ride, and also enjoy trips to the hardware store, and working on all sorts of projects. He's a fun tough Serbian dude that's great to spend time with, and a quality Mayor of our neighborhood." - Angus

Summer Strawn

Bridesmaid

"Sum and I met in junior high, when we didn't like each other and never thought we'd be friends. From that point, (somehow) a friendship blossomed that lasted through high school, being roommates freshman year of college, and to this day enjoying any Disney movie we can sing along to (especially Moana) and eating a lot of dairy that neither of us should be having." - Becca

Nate Speweik

Groomsman

"Nate's a cool guy. Ever since he came by when he started dating my sister, Charlotte, I knew he was a quality, fun dude, and always brings life to any room. Nate and I like to get excited over tech and any Amazon package that comes to the house (it's like Christmas). We spend our days in the "vortex" --spending hours talking and hanging out at my parents house instead of doing other things that we probably should be doing. He's always got a fridge stocked with Bubly (which is superior to La Croix), a new game to play, and the brightest attitude I know. Nate's a cool guy." - Angus
