and the two became one...

The two of us met back in 2013 in our sophomore year of high school on a youth group event in downtown Chicago. Right away, Becca was crushing hard on Angus, and the next two years was a series of back and forth until December 2015, in our senior year of high school, we gave up the fight and started dating. Right away, Angus knew that he wanted this relationship to lead to marriage. Becca, on the other hand, took a little more convincing, but eventually we both fell deeply in love with each other --enjoying every precious moment, whether it be rooftop restaurant, trips to Cinnabon, Marvel movie marathons, or a venture to Target.

The two of us have been looking forward to getting engaged and married for a long while now. Since Becca left for college out of state back in 2016, we've been looking forward to the promise of a future together to get us through years of a long distance relationship. That hopeful promise came around this past summer when Angus proposed on July 27th, 2018 while on a hiking trip in Starved Rock National Park with some of our closest friends nearby --we've been counting down the days until the wedding ever since!

We're so eager to begin our lives together and are ecstatic for the opportunity to be surrounded by those who care about us as we celebrate our forever! We'll be tying the knot on June 22nd, 2019, and we could not be anymore thankful and excited.
