We're Married!

After weeks of rightsizing an event planned for the Gatekeeper’s Museum in Tahoe City, Rebecca Truong & Michael Dorsey wed before their families in a private ceremony at Piedmont Park in Oakland on Friday, June 12, 2020. 

The groom prepared at his brother’s apartment, sporting a blue Indochino suit with a hunter green tie, matching his best men. 

Meanwhile, the brilliant bride did her own makeup & stunned in a gown & veil from a&bé bridal. 

After the bride’s creekside aisle walk, Rebecca & Michael got lost in thoughts of each other during a seven-minute ceremony with tears & jokes aplenty. Following an exuberant kiss, the happy couple shared an exhale for all that had brought them to this moment. 

Rebecca & Michael then raced off for a Honey-night in Calistoga. Their first dance was to Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” partially sung by the groom in the Mount View courtyard, with the endeavor to get married underscored by an appropriate lyric “All’s well that ends well to end up with you."
