It’s FINALLY happening!

We met for the first time on a church retreat on Valentine's Day, 2003. We then began hanging out a lot as friends until it was time to become “official” and instead they broke up. Rebecca went away to the University of Florida and upon graduation returned home to Fort Myers, FL in search of a job. While job hunting Rebecca got involved in the youth program again at her former church. For Josh, it was love at first sight all over again. That night he messaged her for her phone number and the next day asked her on their (second) first date at a local comedy club. After that, the rest is history! <3

Josh created a Disney-themed world for Rebecca. To begin with he set-up a Beauty & the Beast backdrop at Lake Eola in Orlando. There were candles everywhere and music playing in the background. Josh got down on one knee and read the proposal he had written to Rebecca in a book of memories he had created just for her. After proposing the couple went to dinner at their favorite restaurant with the Bride's family. Upon returning to the hotel room that night the room was decorated in rose petals, and every gift basket Disney offered! It was a magical night that will never be forgotten!
