One of our fave places...Relax with a beer in-hand, or pick an activity to do! Saturday night has music too!
Just north of Charlotte proper, Birkdale Village is a really fun shopping area to visit. Great lunch/dinner spots, lots of shopping, and something for everyone! Also it's where Beca worked 5 years and it is a really pretty spot to walk around and spend a few hours!
A really fun spot to visit and have a glass of wine or a coffee...a sort of little escape within the city!
Where we got engaged! This is a special place to us...we took our first picture as a couple here on a picnic date (and brought pizza, of course) and it's a great place to walk around, bring some food and picnic, or even snag a spot on the tennis courts! There is a small beach area, but this is a fun spot to just relax in.
Explore the South End neighborhood! Lots of breweries, restaurants, shops, and more...you can even grab a scooter and go up and down the lightrail! A few of our frequented spots are Chapter 6 for dinner/cocktails, Atherton Mill area for shopping and other food options (there's also a Jeni's Ice Cream nearby), Sycamore Brewing, and a little further south is Olde Mecklenburg Brewery!
There's this location and one in the University area!
Check out whatever exhibits they have going on...there is also a location on Randolph Road and both are worth a visit!
PICKLEBALL! If you are a fan, this is a really great place, and if you aren't, it has food, drinks, and ping pong to play while your friends are busy on the court!
A really cool food hall with lots of places to eat (something for everyone!) and a few stores to wander into as well. There's a brewery downstairs and a cocktail bar too!
A fun spot with lots of food spots, shops, and quirky little places to explore!
A great park in Charlotte with lots of trails, places for activities, and often events on the weekends.
