If you're in town on Thursday, check out live music and local food carts in Caras Park. This is where Maggie and Beau met. From here it's an easy walk to restaurants, bars and breweries.
Bass Creek Hike
This 10+ mile (out-and-back) hike is a showcase for many scenic features and offers vast views of the high canyon walls and peaks and climbs up to an alpine lake. Conveniently located just up the road from Larry Creek Campground where Friday night's picnic takes place.
Blodgett Canyon Overlook Trail
A easy to moderate 3 mile hike west of Hamilton with amazing views of the Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains.
Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge
A great place to walk, watch wildlife and experience a variety of western mountain valley habitats along the Bitterroot River.
