Question
Where is the ceremony and what time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony is on the 4th floor in the Windsor Court. When you exit the elevators on the 4th floor, go to your left. If you need help, you also can ask the Windsor Court employees in the lobby. Guests can start arriving for the ceremony at 5:30, and we recommend you come at least 15 minutes early so you have time to find the ceremony space. The ceremony will start right at 6!

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The wedding is black-tie. Men should wear full black tuxedos with dress shoes and women should wear tea-length dresses*. We are asking that women wear color for their dresses, so please no black or white! For rental tuxes, there are lots of options with varying price points. We are using John's Tuxedos, which is a local business, but you can also use a national chain like Men's Wearhouse, which has 2 locations near New Orleans. With a national chain like Men's Wearhouse, you can get measured at your local store but then pick it up in New Orleans. For John's Tuxedos, you can get measured by a local tailor and then submit your measurements as well, so you do not need to live in New Orleans to use their services! There are also multiple online-only options, such as The Black Tux, but use at your own risk! If you would like to submit your measurements to John's Tuxedos, or have any questions regarding tux rentals, please contact Beatrice at (224) 300-8038. *Originally we were suggesting floor-length dresses, but realized this might be too limiting to swing dance in! So we are now saying tea-length (midi-length) formal dresses.

What is the music/dancing going to be like?
Answer
We are having a Rhythm band for our wedding that plays music from the 20's through the 50's... this means that it is mainly swing dancing style music! If you know how to swing dance, amazing. If you don't, don't worry about it! It is very easy to dance to normally without any special moves. We are hosting a pre-wedding event on the Thursday April 4th for anyone who wants to learn some swing dancing basics for fun.
