Travel Note
The best way to get around once you arrive is renting a car. Please note that our home is at the end of a dirt road. The road is passable by any passenger car but if you do not feel comfortable driving on dirt roads please carpool with a friend. We encourage carpooling as there is limited parking.
Travel Note
There are two airports you can fly into: 1- Albuquerque International- A much bigger airport with more frequent and cheaper flight options. This airport is a one hour drive from our property and about a one and a half our drive from the city of Santa Fe. Rental cars are easily available for pick up at the airport. 2- Santa Fe Regional Airport- A much smaller airport with less frequent and sometimes more expensive flight options. This airport is a thirty minute drive from our property and you'll land essentially right in Santa Fe city. Rental cars are available for pick up at this airport.
Travel Note
If you are not renting a car you can take this shuttle from the ABQ airport to a drop off point in Santa Fe. For an additional fee you can reserve a shuttle to take you directly to a hotel in Santa Fe. From your place you should find a ride to the wedding with a fellow guest with a rental car.
Travel Note
If you are coming from California and want to make this an opportunity for travel- driving across the southwest can be a magical trip! We suggest making this trip in two days- our favorite places to spend the night are Tucson, Sedona, or Flagstaff.
Travel Note
If you would like to be close to the action we recommend staying in an AirBnB in Cerrillos, Madrid, or anywhere off of the Turquoise Trail (Highway 14) north of Madrid. There are also plenty of lovely airbnbs and hotels in Santa Fe. If you are extending your stay and would like to spend the days surrounding the wedding in the Santa Fe area this may be a good option. Note that you will be a 35-40 minute drive from our home if you choose to stay in Santa Fe. If you want to commune with nature, camping is available on our property- let us know if you are interested.
Hotel
Recommended hotel south of the Santa Fe area (close-ish to our property). A luxurious and expensive option but comes with access to hot springs for your entire stay.
Hotel
Super hip and fun boutique hotel in Santa Fe area. One of the best bars around and lots of great live music.
Hotel
A quirky boutique motel in Santa Fe area that often has a lively night scene with live music.
Hotel
A more typical hotel with loads of "Santa Fe Style". This hotel is in the north of Santa Fe so it is a bit far from our place but good if you would like to spend some time in the city of Santa Fe.
