Take a loop around this small town, see historic buildings and make your way to the Mining Museum/Petting Zoo and the Cerrillos Hills State Park building.
You can and should walk the whole town of Madrid - it is only a couple blocks. Refinery 14 or Mineshaft Tavern for food. Java Junction for coffee. Connie's Photo Park and fun shopping along the little strip.
