Question

Do I need to book a hotel?

Answer

No, we have reserved all the rooms at Chetzeron (19 rooms and suites) and most of the rooms at Alaia lodge. We will contact you separately for further details here. If you want to organize accommodation separately, just give Philip or Beate a heads up.

Do I need to book flights and train/car?

Answer

Yes, we ask that all guests arrange this themselves. Recommend to fly into Zürich, Basel or Geneva airport. Train timetables at SBB.ch

Can we bring our child / baby?

Answer

We love YOUR kids, but due to challenging logistics and how the hotel is set up, we think it’s best to keep this an adult-only party. We appreciate the understanding here!

What should we expect to pay for ourselves?

Answer

Hotel: We are sponsoring a bit, but are generally asking guests to pay most of the hotel accommodation themselves. Alaia will be a more budget friendly option (but a very nice design hotel!), while Chetzeron will be more on the luxurious side. Activities: We are covering spa and pool access at Chetzeron for those who would like that, but are asking guests to cover ski passes and rentals (or other snow activities) themselves. As we get closer to the date we may offer a few additional activities as well. Stay tuned! Gondola to Cry d’Er/Chetzeron: For gondola rides Friday and Saturday you will need a one-ride ticket (reminder that the snow cat can only pick up people from the village to Chetzeron after 6pm/18.00). Tickets will be discounted and around CHF 15, and can be purchased online or at the gondola station. If possible, we might purchase some pickets in advance so that you can just pick them up at the counter. More details to come
