What time and where is the Mass?

The Mass will begin promptly at 3pm at Mission San Luis Obispo.

What should we wear?

Answer

Please know this is not a black tie affair. We ask that you please dress with respect for our Catholic faith. Some examples: Dresses for the ladies with boots or dress shoes Dress pants, button downs, aloha shirts, maybe a blazer for the men.

Where's a good place to park?

Answer

There are 2 parking decks nearby in downtown SLO that we recommend. 812 Palm St. 919 Palm St. The small parking lot at the Mission is unavailable for wedding guests.

Who can receive communion at mass?

Answer

Any baptized Catholic can receive communion at Mass. Everyone is welcome to receive a blessing instead. Simply join the communion line, and as you approach the Priest, cross your arms over your chest - resting your hands on your shoulders. The Priest will know you desire a blessing and will do so.

What do I do with my potluck dish during the wedding?

Answer

Beginning at 2:40, our Caterer will be by the Garden entrance to the Church to receive your potluck dish. They will take good care of it in the Parish Hall while we celebrate our wedding mass.🎉

What food should I bring for the potluck?

Answer

Please bring your favorite dish to make and share. We ask you bring it in dishes you do not intend to get back. We will be serving tri-tip for everyone so no need to worry about that, and, we love sharing in connecting with loved ones over delicious homemade food. So casseroles, green salads, pasta salads, fruit salads, GF options, appetizers that are ready to serve, whatever is fun for you to make and bring. Our caterers will be able to chill, or keep warm, your dishes as required so they are ready for the dinner at the reception.

Where are you going on your honeymoon?

We plan to go to Oahu, Hawaii for the week after the wedding🌊🏄‍♂️🏄🏽‍♀️
