It was late spring 2022, and the magic of bumping into people you hadn’t seen in years still lingered in the air. We ran into each other at a friend’s gathering—just like we had years before—but this time, there was a zing. Something unmistakable passed between us. Neither of us could ignore the spark or the effortless ease of being in each other’s company. Aaron asked Angela to coffee, and at 7am on June 29th, 2022, we shared our first cup on the couch of the Parker Street Nautical Bean in San Luis Obispo. What started as coffee turned into a fantastic conversation, which turned into a spontaneous caravan to Pismo Beach for a long walk and talk. Neither of us wanted the date to end. Our first kiss was that day—and while it felt crazy to say so—we both knew: this was someone we never wanted to let go of. Since that day, we’ve been inseparable. From road trips and housework to cooking, dancing, laughing, surfing, singing, and praying—we do it all together. And now, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter. We can’t wait to celebrate our marriage sacrament with you and hope you’ll join us this November.
