James' mother died of complications from heart disease in 2013. The AHA funds research, education, and advocacy on cardiovascular health to promote longer, healthier lives, and is a cause dear to us as we remember those who cannot join us for our day of celebration.

CASA of Alameda County helps foster children by providing dedicated advocates who ensure their voices are heard and their needs for stability, education, and support are met. Since 2018, I’ve been honored to serve as a CASA volunteer. In lieu of wedding gifts, we invite you to donate and help foster youth build brighter futures.
