Maid of Honor
Carley is Nikki's younger sister by 3.5 years and the only person who truly understands her lifelong obsession with oddly specific video games and snacks. Growing up, they bonded over The Legend of Zelda, sibling banter, and intense debates over space and Blackholes (Carley thinks you can't warp through them, Nikki believes otherwise). She’s quick-witted, sarcastic, and fully equipped to keep the bride semi-sane during wedding chaos. She’s not just the Maid of Honor—she’s also the unofficial snack monitor, emotional support gremlin, and the one making sure the bride remembers to breathe... and eat cake. Both are equally important.
Best Man
John has always been a steady presence in David’s life—not just as a brother, but as a lifelong friend. From childhood, to grown-up challenges, the two have shared a bond built on laughter, and John’s enjoyment of video games. Whether they were working on projects, exploring the outdoors, or simply spending time together, John was always someone David could count on. He’s the kind of person who shows up without being asked, supports without hesitation, and loves without condition. For David, John is not just family—he’s one of the most important people in his life.
Bridesmaid
Victoria and Nikki met over a decade ago while working at Teavana in the Vintage Faire Mall, bonding over tea samples and customer chaos. Since then, she’s been a steady presence through all of life’s twists, turns, and spontaneous adventures—always someone the bride can lean on (or laugh with until crying). From concerts and nature escapes to nights out as their alter egos “Razzle” and “Dazzle,” their friendship has been one long highlight reel. (Yes, including that unforgettable concert where some random girl flashed them; proof that no outing with Victoria is ever boring). She’s grounded, hilarious, and always there. Whether it’s offering support or never letting Nikki forget the time she got them off at the wrong BART stop late at night, almost leaving them stranded. Through every season and misadventure, she’s been a constant, and Nikki couldn’t imagine this day without her.
Groomsman
David met Cooper shortly after starting work at TCB, and the connection between them was immediate. Cooper quickly became a close friend and a trusted companion—someone David could rely on both on and off the job. What David values most about Cooper is his unwavering optimism and the genuine positivity he brings wherever he goes. In the moments they’ve shared outside of work, Cooper’s presence has always come with warmth and a sincere desire to connect with those around him. When it comes to the important things, Cooper doesn’t just show up—he shows up with heart, energy, and a bold sense of loyalty that never goes unnoticed. He’s a good man who consistently offers his best, and David is truly grateful for the friendship they’ve built.
Bridesmaid
Geena is David's sister and someone that Nikki is incredibly grateful to have in her life. From the start, she’s been warm, welcoming, and the kind of person who brings calm and kindness wherever she goes. She’s endlessly supportive, genuinely thoughtful, and always ready with a listening ear or encouraging words. Whether it’s navigating wedding plans or just everyday chaos, Nikki knows she can always count on Geena. Having her in the bridal party is a joy not just because she’s family, but because she’s become a true friend and someone the bride looks forward to sharing life with for years to come.
Groomsman
Kyle came into David’s life through his sister, Geena, and from the beginning it was clear that he’s a good man—steady, kind, and genuine. Though their time together has only just begun, David is truly grateful to see someone like Kyle by his sister’s side. There’s a quiet confidence and warmth about him that makes it easy to feel at ease. David looks forward to the years ahead, to shared memories, conversations, and the bond that will continue to grow over a lifetime. He’s glad Kyle is part of the family, and even more glad his sister has someone like him to walk beside her.
Bridesmaid
Karina and Nikki met in nursing school in 2023 and have been bonded ever since through caffeine-fueled study sessions, clinical chaos, and the occasional emotional breakdown in the parking lot. She’s calming in chaos, quick to offer a reality check or a hug (whichever is needed), and always just one call away. But don’t be fooled by her calm demeanor; she’s also the friend who will go full feral if you mess with someone she cares about. Loyal, hilarious, and fiercely protective, she’s the kind of person you want on your team for life. Nikki is beyond grateful to have her by her side on this day and every day after.
Mother of the Groom
David’s mother is a woman whose quiet strength and unwavering discipline have left a lasting impression on him. Her deep devotion to her faith, to her principles, and to herself has always been a guiding light. She is endlessly encouraging, offering words of support that have lifted David through both challenges and triumphs. In the face of life’s difficulties, she endures with grace and good humor, never losing her warmth or her spirit. Her resilience isn’t loud, but it is powerful. To David, she is not only a beloved mother, but also a source of deep inspiration—someone whose love and example continue to shape the man he strives to be.
Mother of the Bride
Darlene is a woman of faith, strength, and boundless love. She approaches life with intention, standing firm in her beliefs and showing through action what it means to live with purpose. From rushing Nikki out the door for early school mornings to guiding her through the biggest milestones of adulthood, she’s always been the steady voice of reason. Her faith has been a constant reminder that grace and perseverance go hand in hand. Nikki grew up watching her mom meet every challenge with prayer, patience, and courage, teaching her that true resilience isn’t about perfection, it’s about trusting God through every season. Darlene’s laughter fills a room, her advice steadies the heart, and her love knows no limits. To Nikki, she is more than a mother; she’s the blueprint of strength wrapped in gentleness, faith lived out daily, and love that never wavers. On this day, Nikki is deeply thankful to have her mom beside her, celebrating not only a new chapter but the woman whose faith and example helped write every page leading up to it.
Father of the Groom
While their relationship wasn’t built on heart-to-heart talks or life lessons, David’s father was always present. He provided, he showed up, and he made sure David had what he needed. Though words were few, the time they’ve spent together in the workshop has meant a great deal to David. Through woodworking—measuring, cutting, building—his father passed on a skill and a quiet kind of connection that didn’t require much to be meaningful. Those hours in the shop, side by side, became their own kind of language—simple, steady, and real. It’s a bond David continues to value today.
Father of the Bride
Strong, steady, and always ready with a joke or a helping hand, Steve has been Nikki’s biggest cheerleader since day one. From childhood bike rides after commuting and working night shift, to walking her down the aisle, her dad’s presence has been a constant source of love, guidance, and faith. When Nikki showed interest in playing guitar at age nine, Steve didn’t hesitate—he picked one up himself and taught himself to play just so he could encourage her. But what Nikki cherishes most isn’t just the laughter, the music, or the memories—it’s the strength of her dad’s faith. Steve’s unwavering belief in God has always grounded their family and set the example for what true integrity, compassion, and devotion look like. Through his words and actions, he showed Nikki what it means to love selflessly, lead with kindness, and trust fully in God. His faith continues to be a light guiding her path.
Officiant
Pastor Steve is the lead pastor of Lifepoint Church in Oakdale, CA, and someone who holds a special place in both Nikki & David's lives. He’s known Nikki for over 15 years, dating back to when they played guitar together in a Celebrate Recovery band—long before Lifepoint was founded. Over the years, he’s been a trusted mentor, close family friend, and a steady source of support through life’s ups and downs, including Nikki's journey through nursing school and David's difficult work as a Millwright. Today, both the bride and groom are proud to call Lifepoint their church home, and they are deeply honored to have Pastor Steve officiate this moment in their story.
