When Nikki showed interest in playing guitar at age nine, Steve didn’t hesitate—he picked one up himself and taught himself to play just so he could encourage her. But what Nikki cherishes most isn’t just the laughter, the music, or the memories—it’s the strength of her dad’s faith. Steve’s unwavering belief in God has always grounded their family and set the example for what true integrity, compassion, and devotion look like. Through his words and actions, he showed Nikki what it means to love selflessly, lead with kindness, and trust fully in God. His faith continues to be a light guiding her path.

Pastor Steve is the lead pastor of Lifepoint Church in Oakdale, CA, and someone who holds a special place in both Nikki & David's lives. He’s known Nikki for over 15 years, dating back to when they played guitar together in a Celebrate Recovery band—long before Lifepoint was founded. Over the years, he’s been a trusted mentor, close family friend, and a steady source of support through life’s ups and downs, including Nikki's journey through nursing school and David's difficult work as a Millwright. Today, both the bride and groom are proud to call Lifepoint their church home, and they are deeply honored to have Pastor Steve officiate this moment in their story.
