When should I fly in?

Answer

Depending on where you're flying from, I recommend setting aside a day for travel as it can take some time with layovers and driving. Events will take place on Wednesday December 9th, Thursday December 10th, and Friday December 11th. Please feel free to arrive as early or leave as late as you'd like!

What should I pack?

A VALID passport, lightweight/breathable clothing, swim suits, sandals and comfortable walking shoes (especially if you'd like to do activities such as hiking), sunscreen, and your outfits for wedding events of course! Note: If you tend to get motion sick (like Olivia), there are some curvy roads and a boat day, so we also recommend bringing any meds you may need.

Yes water is generally safe to drink in Manuel Antonio! If you have a sensitive stomach, bottled water is widely available.

How do I get around the local area?

For any wedding festivities, we will provide transport via shuttles/buses. Otherwise, Manuel Antonio is very walkable in most areas. Uber and taxis are also easily accessible.

Do I need cash?

Answer

USD is widely accepted and most of the time you can may with debit/credit cards. However, recommend bringing some cash if you would like to do activities, transportation (to/from the hotel if you are taking a shuttle), tips, etc. There is also an ATM at the El Faro hotel.
