We recommend staying at the Trilogy Hotel Montgomery or the SpringHill Suites Montgomery Downtown!
We’re aiming for springtime elegance. Super formal attire is encouraged (suits, long dresses, elevated separates), but we’re not calling it black tie. We’d love to see bright colors, pastels, florals, or anything that feels festive and fresh! The ceremony and reception will take place outdoors in Alabama in May, so keep heat and humidity in mind when choosing fabrics. Most importantly, we want you to look and feel your best—show up in something that makes you feel fabulous.
We sure are, we registered at Williams Sonoma/ Pottery Barn, and Amazon. You are able to access our registries through the tab at the top of the screen!
Due to venue capacity restraints, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited. If you receive a plus one, it will be addressed on your invitation and RSVP section of the website!
We absolutely love your children and are so happy to celebrate with the little ones who are included on the invitation! While we wish we could extend the invitation to all our guests’ children, we have to consider the limited capacity of the venue.
The ceremony will be outdoors, and the rest of the evening will flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. We recommend dressing for warm Alabama weather and wearing shoes that can handle a little grass and gravel—just in case.
We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony. We’ve hired a wonderful photographer to capture all the special moments, and we’d love for you to simply be present and enjoy the view with us.
Absolutely! Please let us know as soon as you can so we can notify the caterers!
We understand parking can be one of the most stressful parts of attending an event! Not only is there on site parking, there will also be parking attendants to direct you. We do encourage carpooling or ride sharing if possible.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 pm so we kindly ask that guests arrive 30 minutes before- that way, everyone has time to park, find their seat, and settle in!
While we’re hoping for beautiful spring weather, May in Alabama can be unpredictable. Rest assured, we have a thoughtful rain plan in place to ensure the celebration continues seamlessly, come rain or shine. We suggest wearing shoes suitable for grass and keeping the season in mind when selecting attire, just in case the weather decides to surprise us.
Casual and comfortable! Our welcome party is all about relaxing, unwinding, and spending time together after a day of travel. Join us in easy, laid-back attire—whether that’s sundresses, polos, or your favorite casual outfit. The event will be split between indoor and outdoor spaces at the Montgomery Whitewater, so feel free to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
