When is my final balance due?

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, you do. Please note that in order to travel to Mexico, your passport needs to be valid for at least SIX months after your arrival. This means your passport cannot have an expiration date prior to August/September 2022. If your passport does expire within six months of your visit, you must renew your passport.

How will I get from the Cancun Airport to Finest?

Answer

Shuttles to and from the airport to Finest are INCLUDED with your stay. Be sure to give our travel agent your flight information as soon as you have it, so she can arrange your pick up.

Answer

Passport A LOT of sunscreen - the sun is much stronger in Mexico! What room should I book? I see options for Finest Suites, Finest Club, and Excellence Club

Answer

The Finest & Excellence Club level rooms have some extra perks such as their own lounge/check-in area, beach area, and a couple extra restaurants. Finest Club = Club perks with guests under 18 included Excellence Club = Adults-Only and rooms are in an Adult-Only area within the resort. Really any of the "regular" Junior Suites are perfectly luxurious on their own with plenty of options for food. You really can't go wrong!

Is there a Dress Code?

Answer

YES!! The resort has a STRICT DRESS CODE that men especially have to prepare for. Most restaurants in the evening require "Casual Elegance", described as: Ladies: Long pants, capri pants, or skirt with a blouse, or a dress. I will be in a sundress or romper every night with just some type of sandal. Gentlemen: Long dress pants and collared shirt. Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn. T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, beach sandals, and flip flops are not allowed. -Think chinos, linen pants, khakis, short-sleeve button downs, polos, fashion sneakers, loafers, etc. The Excellence App and hotel website also lists the requirements for each restaurant and bar under the Flavors & Spirits tab. During the day, this is not something you will have to worry about :) Cover ups, swim suits with shirts, etc. is just fine!

Tell me more about the Catamaran Cruise?

Answer

The day after the wedding (2/25) - tfrom 2-6pm Meet in lobby at 1:30pm to walk over to the marina (~10 minute walk). Bring: a towel, sunscreen, and DRAMAMINE (if you are someone who may get seasick). Do I have to stay at the Finest Resort?

Answer

It is the hotel policy that all wedding guests must stay at the resort. Because the resort is highly secured, those who do not have room reservations are not allowed on the property.

What is included in my stay?

Answer

Just about everything! Food: All meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol. There are 11 restaurants, 1 dessert/coffee bar, 12 bars, and 24 hour room service. Most Activities - check out the "Things to Do" tab for more info! There is also a free mobile app called "The Excellence Collection" which will include all restaurant menus, spa services, and daily activity schedule.

Does the Resort have WiFi?

Answer

Yes - it works fairly well! If you do NOT have an international data plan, be sure to turn your phone to Airplane Mode while boarding the plane, and do not take it off Airplane Mode until you are back in the USA. If you happen to turn it off Airplane Mode, you will incur cellular roaming charges. The resort has free Wifi everywhere. You will still be able to use all social media and iMessaging for free over the resort Wifi - just no phone calls.
