FAQs

Question

Where is Rhineland?

Answer

From Lubbock, head east on Highway 6282 toward Idalou. Continue on Highway 6282 for approximately 95 miles through Benjamin. Approximately 7.5 miles outside of Benjamin, turn south on FM 267. Continue on FM 267 for 5 miles and turn East on County Road 6010. The church is on the North side of the road.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by October 1st to ensure that there is enough food and drink for everyone!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking for both the ceremony and reception. The reception is held just down the street from the ceremony so guests can walk or drive from the church to the reception.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome. There is a small room at the back of the church for fussy children. The dance will be family friendly!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to Seymour (~30 minute drive) throughout the reception if needed.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Since our wedding is in the church, please wear your Sunday Best. However, the reception will be much more relaxed so if your shoes are too high or your dress too tight, please feel free to change!

Question

Do I have to be Catholic to attend?

Answer

No, absolutely not. However, since Catholics believe in the true presence of Jesus at Communion, we do ask that if you are not Catholic you do not receive Holy Communion as a sign of respect for Catholic teachings.
