There is no shortage of things to do in San Diego County! We've compiled a range of activities across the county to give you some ideas for how to fill your weekend when you aren't spending it with us, but this is by no means everything we have to recommend. Other topics we have recommendations for: -Breweries -Golf courses -Specific hikes around the county -Good local food spots (for almost any cuisine) -Places to take a day trip -Speakeasies (Southern California is full of them) -Museums -Haunted locations and tours -Farmer's Markets -Best shopping in the area

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, CA 92027

This extension of the San Diego Zoo is a short drive away from our venue if you're looking for something to do the day before.

San Diego Zoo

2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

Is as fun/nice as advertised. 10/10 recommend, but wear comfortable shoes (it's very hilly).

Mission Trails Regional Park

1 Father Junipero Serra Trail, San Diego, CA 92119

If you're into hiking, there are endless trails to explore in Mission Trails. We have recommendations for beginners and experienced hikers, alike.

Old Town San Diego

2829 Juan Street, San Diego, CA 92110

This is a classic San Diego tourist attraction, and for good reason. There is something for everyone: shopping, architecture, haunted locations/tours (home to one of the most haunted locations in the United States - The Whaley House), tours, tequila tastings, food, etc.

Balboa Park

San Diego, CA

This is a beautiful place for a long walk, nice meal or chance to tour a few museums.

USS Midway Museum

910 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101

This one is for our military history buffs, or for anyone who has ever wanted to explore an aircraft carrier.

Literally, any beach

You can't go wrong with any beach in San Diego County, even in February.

Temecula

Temecula, CA

If you're into wine and haven't visited the area before, there are plenty of great wineries in Temecula. It's roughly a 30-minute drive from San Marcos if you're staying in the area.

North Park

San Diego, CA

For our out-of-towners who identify as foodies or who love a good beer (or both), there are many great places to explore in North Park.

Whiskers & Wine Cat Cafe

2856 Adams Avenue, San Diego, CA 92116

You get to spend time with kitties and drink wine, what more do you need??

CuppaPug

607 West 9th Avenue, Escondido, CA 92025

It's a cat cafe but for pugs, and it's a short drive away!
