No, this will be an adults-only event. For our friends/family that are parents: You deserve a fun night out!
Very. Please consider your RSVP a promise to wear all black. ;)
The bride and groom kindly request (cough cough, insist) that guests wear all-black, with the only exception being a white shirt underneath a suit/tux. Glitter, lace, polka dots, florals, rhinestones, gems, textures, ties, bowties, etc., are welcome as long as they are black. If you are unsure, please text the bride.
Yes, we just ask that all other parts of your attire — including ties, bowties and pocket squares — be black.
We would like our guests to dress on the fancier side. If you'd like to go full black tie, you are welcome to, but somewhere around formal/semi-formal will be just fine. We encourage guests to have a bit of fun with textures and styles, but everything should be black on black. If you're unsure if something is appropriate, the bride is happy to weigh in.
No, there is not a hotel block, as many of our guests live within San Diego County. However, we've listed/ranked the three closest and highest-rated hotels within a 15-minute radius of our venue which can be found on the "Travel" page.
Yes, the venue has plenty of free, close parking for our guests.
Yes, the venue location is easily accessible by rideshare and is welcomed.
Yes, there will be an open bar. Cocktail hour will be 1 hour before the reception, and last call will be at 9:30 p.m. There will be plenty of non-alcoholic beverage options for those who don't drink, as well as coffee and iced tea for those who want a pick-me-up.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be in a lightly shaded/mostly sunny area, so sunscreen or hats are encouraged for sun protection. The reception will be in a weather-controlled tent. Heaters will be on-site should it be cold in the evening.
For our non-San Diegan family and friends: It would be a stretch to call our February weather "winter." February can range from 60-80 degrees during the daytime, depending if there is a heatwave moving through. It will likely be warm in the sun and the evening will be chilly, but not freezing. We recommend bringing layers to account for the variance.
Yes.
Yes, there will be a place to store gifts at the wedding venue.
Not remote at all. There are hotels within a short drive, and the venue is very easy to locate - it's right off a major freeway.
If you're staying locally (within San Diego County), you shouldn't have to account for much traffic. However, if you're driving from Orange County/LA, we recommend leaving early to account for the traffic around Camp Pendleton/Oceanside.
