FAQs

To make your planning a little easier, we’ve gathered a few key details below. We hope this helps you feel fully prepared for the celebration.
Question

What does “Garden Formal” mean?

Answer

Think refined, romantic, and seasonally inspired — polished enough for a formal wedding, but with the ease and charm of an outdoor garden setting. For the ladies: Midi or floor-length dresses in soft neutrals or rich autumn tones (greens, burgundy, taupe, champagne). Flowing fabrics, florals, or subtle textures fit beautifully. For the gentlemen: A suit or blazer with slacks — ties are encouraged but not required. Dark or earthy tones pair well with the season and setting. Footwear tip: The ceremony takes place outdoors on grass, so block heels, wedges, or flats are best for comfort.

Question

What do we wear to the welcome party?

Answer

We recommend casual formal attire—think stylish but comfortable. But feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel confident and ready to celebrate!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that our wedding be an adults-only celebration unless otherwise specified on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Please check your Zola RSVP to confirm if a plus-one is included. We kindly ask that only listed guests attend, as we're planning an intimate celebration. Thanks for understanding!

Question

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony will take place outside, with the reception to follow in a covered area. We recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket as the evening may cool down.

Question

What will the weather be like in October?

Answer

Albuquerque in October is typically sunny and crisp, with highs in the 60s–70s and cooler evenings. Our ceremony is outdoors, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap.

Question

What's the venue like?

Answer

It’s an outdoor ceremony with an indoor/outdoor reception space (tent, lawn, etc.). Dress accordingly, and prepare for some golden hour magic.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests are welcome to begin arriving at 4:30 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so please plan to arrive early enough to be seated and settled.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

At this time, transportation is not provided. We encourage guests to use a car service or arrange carpools. If this changes, we’ll update you here.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be plenty of parking available on-site, so no need to worry. That said, we still encourage guests to carpool or use a rideshare service if possible—for ease and safety, especially after an evening of celebration.

Question

What's the food situation?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet-style with a variety of options, including vegetarian dishes. Come hungry – we promise there will be something for everyone.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes! You can find our registry linked at the top of our site.

Question

Are there any hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a room block for the 'Marriott Pyramid North Hotel' for 10/17-10/19. Please see the “Travel” section of the website for booking information and deadlines.

Question

What should I do while I'm in town?

Answer

We’ve put together a list of our favorite things to do, eat, and see in Albuquerque (and even Santa Fe). Head over to the 'Things to Do' section for recs!
