FAQs

If you have any questions other than those listed here, please contact us directly or at bayandspencer@gmail.com.
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

It's beachy! Nice but casual attire, please. We want everyone looking their best, but we want you to feel comfortable! We've heard that men may be required to wear long pants at some of the restaurants. Please pack accordingly.

Question

When should I book my trip by?

Answer

If you are planning to take advantage of the discounted room block, the last day to do so is July 1st, 2022. The wedding couple have secured a room block from October 10th- 16th, 2022. If you would like to reserve a room outside this room block, please reach out to our dedicated travel advisor, Crystal. Cancellations after August 3rd, 2022 will be nonrefundable.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We are keeping this a "family kids only" wedding. We love your kids, but we know the party may get a little wild. If you still aren't sure, please ask!

Question

How long should I plan to be there?

Answer

If you planning on taking advantage of the discounted room block, there is a 3-night minimum stay. Otherwise, stay as long as you'd like. The wedding is on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. Valid Passport required. Your passport must be valid up at least 6 months after travel dates.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

To avoid high prices the resort may charge, consider bringing your own bug spray, sunscreen, and cash (tips are not required but it's always good to be friends with the bartender!)

Question

Can I afford this?

Answer

Room rates are about $160 a night per person (depending on the room you book), with a 3-night minimum stay. Airfare rates are usually lowest 3-6 months from the departure date. The resort is all inclusive! For a better idea of what to actually expect, please reach out to our travel agent Crystal Aldridge so that she can help you find the best and most affordable travel itinerary.
