Kelly was born and raised in Bethlehem, PA. She went to Notre Dame High School and Moravian College. Then she moved to northern VA to begin a promising career in education. She taught fourth grade for 11 years before transitioning to a reading specialist at her current school in Richmond, VA. Kelly is an active person, playing volleyball and running, which ultimately led her to Jake one hot day in September 2017. Jake proposed to Kelly 2 years later at the same event.
Jake Vance
Groom
Jake was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA. He attended Rustburg High School and went to UVA (wahoowah!). Though he has had multitude of jobs, he eventually landed in a career that has allowed him to pursue his passion of craft beer. He began this career as a taproom manager for Hardywood in Charlottesville, VA, and now works as an Area Sales Manager for Old Bust Head Brewing Company. This passion (combined with the torture of running) led him to meet Kelly one hot day in September of 2017.

Maid of Honor
Maggie met Kelly in kindergarten at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bethlehem, PA. They bonded instantly over their like of listening to books on tape in the school library and have been best friends ever since, even after attending different high schools and colleges and living states apart later in life. They enjoy running, baking, watching romantic comedies and traveling together. Here's to 30 plus years of friendship.

Best Man
J.D. and Jake first met when Jake was born. It was love at first sight for J.D. - Jake couldn't really see. J.D. always provided a great foundation upon which Jake grew as flourished as a child into an adult. He was an exemplary role model and great father. Needless to say, they have been the best of friends ever since. You can find the working on/ fixing things, sharing a cold beer on a hot day or watching their favorite show - Married With Children.
