Steven and Julia first met during their time in Chatham University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Sharing classes, long study sessions, and the same career goals made it easy for them to connect—and their friendship grew quickly from there. But it wasn’t until their final semester that something more began to spark. Their first official date was at Cinderlands in Pittsburgh’s Strip District… and the rest, as they say, is history. Fast forward three years, they were off on a family vacation to Glacier National Park in August of 2024. On the coldest August day in the park’s history (40 degrees!) with nonstop downpouring rain, Steven led Julia on a hike to Avalanche Lake. There, in front of the hazy lake, he got down on one knee and asked Julia to marry him. She said yes, and they celebrated with champagne and happy tears surrounded by nature and family. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you!
