The wedding will be held at The Barn on New River in West Jefferson, NC on August 16th 2026. There will be an formal outdoor ceremony starting promptly at 5:00, with a cocktail hour and indoor reception to follow.
Although the ceremony will begin with the processional promptly at 5:00 pm, we recommend that guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony start time so you can grab a seat, and get settled before the proceedings. Please be advised, anyone arriving after the official wedding processional begins will be politely asked to wait to the side until the proceedings are complete, so as not to disturb the processional or ceremony. Please be sure you arrive on time so you are able to join us!
Thanks to our wonderful venue, we are lucky enough to have ample parking should you need it. The parking lot is located on the main road leading into the venue, South Fork Farm Ln, and can be found to your right just before you reach the venue. The venue has been kind enough to provide a parking attendant for your convenience and all questions regarding parking upon your arrival can be directed to the venue staff.

We are so excited to celebrate this special day with our closest family and friends! Since we have opted for a more intimate celebration and can only accommodate a limited number of individuals, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP. We kindly ask that all guests refrain from bringing children unless noted on your invitation, as we have chosen to have an adults-only event with few exceptions. We would like to give our guests the opportunity to relax and let their hair down away from little ones and hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night! We hope you can understand our decision and are still able to join us on our special day!

We encourage guests to wear elegant and formal attire, with cocktail garden party attire being a particularly fitting choice for our special day. Please keep in mind when choosing your attire that the ceremony will take place outdoors, and the reception indoors. On the day of the wedding the temperature is expected to start around 80° and cool off in the evening with a lowest temperature of 70° F.

This event is semi-casual. Feel free to wear sundresses etc. for the ladies, and jeans/khakis and a polo/button down for the men!
