From small everyday moments to big milestones, we’ve spent the last several years learning, laughing, and figuring life out as a team. Along the way, we’ve grown together with the help of new experiences, adventures, moves, big life changes, and all the other little things that have helped us form the strong foundation God had in store for us. Through it all, we’ve realized life is better together—and we’re here for all of it! By the summer of 2025, we were ready for a new adventure so we planned a (much overdue) weeklong trip through the Smokey Mountains, taking our time to soak in the mountain scenery, enjoy the small towns, and make more memories along the way. On August 14, one of our first stops brought us to Fall Branch Falls in Blue Ridge, GA, where a quiet trail led us to a beautiful waterfall that we were fortunate enough to have completely to ourselves. At the top of the falls, as we posed for a photo, Ethan got down on one knee, nearly toppling over the edge of the waterfall in the process, which made the moment perfectly chaotic, hilarious, and completely us. We spent the remainder of the trip celebrating together - and enjoying all the free dessert! We cannot wait to take this next step together and are endlessly grateful for the support of family and friends to help make it so special! With Love, The Future Batsons
