Wedding Party

Randi Wolverton

Matron of Honor

Randi (Wulfkuhle) Wolverton has been Amber's best friend since they both moved to Spring Hill, KS in the fall of 2000, their 7th Grade year. Some people would get Randi and Amber confused in school. They basically share a brain. There are too many memories to put here of Randi and Amber, but just know that Randi is Amber's other half. When these two are together, the laughing never stops. Even though they get older, their brains may not have matured.

Shane Nicks

Best Man

Childhood friend of the Jacob's.

Stephanie Einspahr

Maid of Honor

Stephanie Einspahr has been another best friend of Amber's since Amber moved to Spring Hill, KS in 2000. They became much closer as they grew older, practically inseparable, and share many memories together with many laughs. (Stephanie might know the most deep, dark secrets of Amber's!) Just like Randi, Steph is another one of those that when Amber and Steph are together, the laughter never stops. There were times that Sheila would have to come "break up the fun" between the two because it was like 2 AM. When Amber moved out into her apartment, it was basically like Steph's second home.

Cody Ellis

Best Man

One of Jacob's closest best friends since childhood, who was also a former roommate at one point in his lifetime.

Ashley Hart

Bridesmaid

Ashley (Havelka) Hart is the older sister of Jacob, and mother to the two Ring Bearers, Lucas & Silas.

Luke Duewel

Groomsman

Luke Duewel is a former co-worker of Amber's from Children's Mercy Hospital, however, she was never blessed with any siblings, but Luke is the closest she's ever had to a "baby brother". Luke has been part of the "family" since she can remember, attending certain family events and even her Aunts adopted him as their nephew! Luke and Amber shared over ten years of being partner's in crime together in the Finance department at CMH. One time, she was gone for the day, and he came in to draw all over her Jonas Brothers poster she had on her desk (she still has it to this day). Luke would throw paperclips at Amber and vise versa. They literally bickered like siblings at work and even fellow co-workers knew that they were the "Dynamic Duo"!

Holly Anderson

Bridesmaid

Holly (Prothe) Anderson has been one of Amber's very close friends since Amber worked at TeamBank, N.A. in Paola in the Call Center, with her mom, Angela. Angela happened to tell Amber one day, "I have a daughter your age", and since then, Amber and Holly were close! They even worked together when the Call Center got moved to another building that Holly was in as the imager. Yet again, Holly might know things about Amber that others might not know! (She was a Saint and took Amber to the ER one night when her parents were out of town!) Holly introduced Amber to The Mighty Boosh and have a few inside jokes together about it. Holly went to Amber's first Jonas Brothers concert with her!

Nick Shea

Groomsman

Childhood friend of Jacob's.

Megan Duescher

Bridesmaid

Megan "Megz" Duescher and Amber met on Twitter back in the day and have spent a few vacations together, have visited each other between Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin where Megz is from. Megz was Amber's plus one for her cousin's wedding a few years ago and Amber's family adores her like she's her sister from another mister. Megz is Amber's "go-to" to watch The Hangover, the Saw movies, and Final Destination. If they aren't sending The Hangover gifs to each other in any form of texting, there's something wrong with them. She's definitely the Alan to Amber's Phil.

Jack Vincent

Groomsman

Jack is a former roommate that Jacob lived with right before Jacob and Amber lived together. Jack, his wife Katie, Jacob, and Amber spent a lot of time under the same roof at one point. (Their dogs may like Jacob and Amber a little more than Jack and Katie, just sayin'. We love Lexi and Harlow, too!)

Whitney Stuteville

Bridesmaid

Whitney (Smith) Stuteville has been one of Amber's close friends as well. Amber's "Shortstuff", if you know, you know. Whitney spent close to a whole summer, sleeping on Amber's bedroom floor, eating all the cheese and drinking all the milk in the house. Brian and Sheila always knew when Whitney was around. If you see Whitney, ask her about making puppy chow. As mentioned above, these two spent close to a whole summer together, they even worked together at Sonic. They would cruise around in Whitney's blue Oldsmobile Cutlass with the pink fuzzy steering wheel cover, just looking to see what they could do in the small town of Spring Hill, KS. Oh, and let's not forget about Tuesday night karaoke and line dancing!

Nick Cuchetti

Groomsman

Childhood friend of Jacob's.

Lucas Hart

Ring Bearer

Lucas Hart, the oldest of Jacob's two nephews, is honored to take on the role of one of the ring bearers. He was excited when Jacob asked him to be a ring bearer and hasn't been able to stop telling people that his Uncle Jake is getting married! Jacob has been teasing him if he's going to dress up like a bear and walk the rings down the aisle, to which Lucas just gives him some sass in return.

Silas Hart

Ring Bearer

Silas, the youngest of Jacob's two nephews, is the second ring bearer with his older brother, Lucas. (He is the ultimate wild child and is fearless, Amber believes that he'll be the one stealing the show for the day!)

Leona Barnett

Flower Grandparent

Leona (Geske) "Mama" Barnett is Amber's only surviving grandmother, who practically raised Amber since day one. Leona would be the reason Amber likes to thrift, go to garage sales, or as Leona calls it, "junkin'". Leona would take Amber to and from school every day, until the day that Amber moved away from Brighton, IL to start her teenage years in Spring Hill, KS. People would think Amber was Leona's child, just because they were always together, going to the grocery store for donut holes or the small pharmacy for lollipops while Leona would get her scripts.

Jerry Bates

Flower Grandparent

Jerry Bates is the only surviving grandfather of Amber's, also known as Amber's "Homie". If you hear her mention "Homie", that's her Grandpa Jerry. Amber spent many of her childhood days in her grandparents' back yard, as they had a pool before her parents did, and remembers watching her grandpa pull out the old Alpo to feed Whistle, their black lab all the time. During Christmas, Amber would stay with her Grandpa Jerry while in town and the two of them would watch Christmas Light Fight together. Whenever Amber sees an Alf, she thinks of her Grandpa Jerry, aka her "Homie". Which for those that don't know why she calls him this, it's because he has a lot of "Homer-isms", like Homer Simpson. Don't ask Jerry for a snickerdoodle cookie!

Dereck Bates

Usher

Dereck Bates is one of two of Amber's blood Uncles, who has been a very important person in her adult life. Since Amber's family moved four hours away from "home" in 2000, Dereck, Valerie, and their family have tried to come out to celebrate Amber's birthday every year, doesn't matter how old Amber gets. If you ever need Amber to have a good belly laugh, just mention her Uncle Dereck's name. This actually worked once when she had to have surgery and Sheila told her to think of something funny because she was worrying, "My Uncle Dereck" were the only words out of her mouth and her tears turned into laughter. Ask Dereck who Amber's "sidekick" is, it's her Uncle D. The day Amber told her Uncle D that she was getting married and asked him to be her Usher, he cried. His not-so-little niece is all grown up!

Dan Hart

Usher

Dan Hart is married to Ashley, making him Jacob's brother-in-law, and the father to Lucas & Silas, Jacob's nephews.

Rich Barnett

Officiant

Pastor Rich Barnett, the second of Amber's two blood uncles. When Rich became a Pastor, Amber knew instantly that when the big special day came, there was only one person for the job, and that was her "Uncle". Yes, she calls Rich just by "Uncle". (There's no way that Amber is going to make it through the ceremony with her Uncle doing the honors without crying. Bring the tissues!) Growing up, she was his shadow. There wasn't anywhere Rich went that Amber wasn't right there behind him. She spent a lot of her childhood with her Uncle Rich and Aunt Amy, especially camping. (Don't get in a pillow fight while camping in a tent, you might lose a tooth!) There are so many memories between Uncle Rich and Amber, especially her uncle's lead foot when it met railroad crossings. Ask Rich how Amber handled him getting married to Amy, it's kind of comical, she thought she was going to lose her Uncle forever and that Amy was going to take him away on their honeymoon and never comeback... "UNNNNNNNNNCLE!"
