You DON'T REQUIRE A VISA under the following conditions: The purpose of your visit is tourism. Your stay does not exceed 180 days. You will not receive any remuneration at all from Mexico. However, it is necessary to have: 1. A valid passport with more than 6 months of validity (Mexican authorities require a passport to be valid for the duration of the stay in Mexico, but the transit countries and airline companies may have other requirements). 2. A properly completed Multiple Migratory Form (FMM). The FMM can be obtained from the airline or at the port of entry. Remember to keep the FMM in a safe place during your trip! The resort is a about an hour drive from the airport. Tip: regular taxis, caps or UBER, ARE NOT allowed to pick up passengers at the airport. Only authorized transportation companies are allowed for ground transport. Best would be to arrange the transport with the travel agent. The ceremony & the wedding reception will be on premises of Grand Palladium Kantenah.
The resort requires at least 80% of the wedding party to stay at the resort for 3 nights. If you decide to stay elsewhere you can still attend the wedding however you will need a Wedding pass which is 150USD per person. You will need to bring and ID and pay directly at the Grand Palladium Colonial front desk or you can pay for the wedding passes in advance. You can arrive 1 hour before the ceremony and stay until the end of the reception/dinner.
