Celebration of a love worth waiting for

It was summer of 2016, Michal came to Chicago to celebrate his brother marriage and it was at that very special time when our paths crossed, and our friendship began. Fast forward to Christmas of 2018, and few tequila shots when we thought we could be great travelling buddies and booked a 10-day trip to Jordan. During that trip we realized that not only are we great travel buddies, but that we also have a deeper bond, and the rest was history at that point… Long distance relationship was not easy, but we made it work with the pond crossing and jetlag every three weeks … February 3, 2020 Michal popped the question and we got engaged in Paris and a month later the world came to a halt! The pandemic did not stop our love from flourishing and despite all odds we managed to move in together and live in Europe … and that’s where the crazy idea to get married in Mexico was born…
