Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at Robert Hall in downtown Winston-Salem (874 North Liberty Street). The night will be mostly indoors, with cocktail hour options and our reception entertainment being on the tented outdoor patio.

Dress Code

We kindly request that you wear your best cocktail attire! Ladies: Think knee-length to midi dresses, chic separates, or something along those lines. We encourage all colors, especially bright ones (but please no white)! Men: Think dress pants paired with a button-down and a sports coat. No jeans or short sleeves, please. Feel free to add a tie or wear a suit if that's more your vibe!

We're so excited to see you! Due to the venue's capacity requirements, our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. While we love your little ones, we appreciate you making arrangements beforehand to celebrate a night out with us, unless your children are specifically listed.

Free parking is available on the surrounding streets and provided by the venue. Venue staff will be outside to help you find a parking spot.

Our venue is two stories separated by stairs. The reception and ceremony will take place indoors at street level, while the cocktail hour will be mostly upstairs. There will be additional space for cocktail hour on the tented outdoor street-level patio for those who do not wish to climb stairs.

Let's Eat!

After the wedding ceremony, we will have a charcuterie grazing table accompanied by our venue's historic bar (the bartop is from one of Al Capone's old hideouts!). We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, beer, and our signature cocktails. Dinner will be a buffet of our favorite North Carolina BBQ, chicken, and several sides (including salad and vegetarian options). If you have dietary restrictions or would prefer a vegetarian meal, please let us know when you RSVP.

We have a room block reserved at the historic Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in downtown Winston-Salem (the building's architecture inspired the Empire State Building)! Please look at our "Travel" page for booking information.

Answer

As we all know, North Carolina can get quite hot and humid in the summer. Our ceremony is inside (you're welcome)! While a portion of the cocktail hour and dancing will be outside, it will be covered by a tent to keep some of the heat (and any potential rain) away.
