You should arrive at 3:00-3:15pm as the ceremony will start at 3:30pm.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a button down and tie or a sports coat.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

They are both taking place inside the barn a Stonebriar Farm. The address is 9035 Edgerton Road, De Soto, KS 66018.

Yes, there is a large gravel lot right out front of the venue.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors, However, the cocktail hour is outside on a shaded patio with refreshments.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby and setting up for the reception for approximately 30 minutes. Guests can head straight to the outdoor patio, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Getting to StoneBriar Farm from the Kansas City Area: StoneBriar Farm is located at 9035 Edgerton Road in De Soto, Kansas and easily accessed via major roadways. For guests driving from Kansas City: 1. Head west out of the Kansas City metro on K-10 Highway toward Lawrence/De Soto. 2. Take the Edgerton Road exit. 3. Turn right onto Edgerton Road and continue a short distance. 4. You’ll find the venue on the right-hand side at 9035 Edgerton Rd in a scenic farm setting — look for signs for parking and wedding access. StoneBriar Farm is located in De Soto, Kansas, about 2.5 hours from Lamar, Missouri. For guests driving from Lamar: 1. Take US-71 North toward Kansas City. 2. Continue onto I-49 / US-71 North as you approach the Kansas City area. 3. Follow signs for I-435 West, then take K-10 West toward Lawrence/De Soto. 4. Exit at Edgerton Road. 5. Turn right onto Edgerton Road and continue until you reach StoneBriar Farm on the right. Please allow a little extra travel time and follow on-site signage for parking upon arrival.
