What time should I arrive?

Answer

You should arrive at 3:30-3:45pm as the ceremony will start at 4:00pm.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a button down and tie or a sports coat.

It stands for little black dress!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

They are both taking place inside the barn a Stonebriar Farm. The address is 9035 Edgerton Road, De Soto, KS 66018.

Is there onsite parking?

Answer

Yes, there is a large gravel lot right out front of the venue.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors, However, the cocktail hour is outside on a shaded patio with refreshments.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby and setting up for the reception for approximately 30-45 minutes. Guests can head straight to the outdoor patio, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during a cocktail hour.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

Getting to StoneBriar Farm from the Kansas City Area: StoneBriar Farm is located at 9035 Edgerton Road in De Soto, Kansas and easily accessed via major roadways. For guests driving from Kansas City: 1. Head west out of the Kansas City metro on K-10 Highway toward Lawrence/De Soto. 2. Take the Edgerton Road exit. 3. Turn right onto Edgerton Road and continue a short distance. 4. You’ll find the venue on the right-hand side at 9035 Edgerton Rd in a scenic farm setting — look for signs for parking and wedding access. StoneBriar Farm is located in De Soto, Kansas, about 2.5 hours from Lamar, Missouri. For guests driving from Lamar: 1. Take US-71 North toward Kansas City. 2. Continue onto I-49 / US-71 North as you approach the Kansas City area. 3. Follow signs for I-435 West, then take K-10 West toward Lawrence/De Soto. 4. Exit at Edgerton Road. 5. Turn right onto Edgerton Road and continue until you reach StoneBriar Farm on the right. Please allow a little extra travel time and follow on-site signage for parking upon arrival.

Will there be a shuttle service to/from the Embassy Suites to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, Embassy Suites does not offer a shuttle service, so guests will be responsible for arranging transportation to and from the venue. Uber and Lyft services are available in the area for your convenience.

Are we registered?

Answer

Yes, we are registered on Amazon! We’ve been incredibly blessed by the generosity and love of our family and friends, so there are only a few items remaining on our registry. If you would still like to give a gift, we would greatly appreciate gift cards to Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, or Walmart, or a contribution to our honeymoon fund. We’ll be traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains as we celebrate our new marriage together.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

Only the best Italian food in the Kansas City area - Salvatore’s! We’ll be serving salad, fresh bread, fettuccine, capelli d’angelo, and chicken spiedini buffet style.

How do I communicate my dietary restrictions?

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We’ll be having an open bar featuring signature cocktails, Michelob Ultra, Busch Light, Chardonnay, and Merlot. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. We want you to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us without having to worry about paying for drinks.
