Travel
Homer is a small coastal town about a four-hour drive from Anchorage. You will fly into Anchorage International Airport (ANC) and can rent a car, take a shuttle, or catch a flight to Homer.
The drive is very scenic – you’ll drive along the coast, over a mountain pass, across the famous Kenai River, and on a clear day, you’ll see volcanos as you approach Homer. You can easily make the road trip into a daylong adventure (look at the activities tab for ideas).
If you choose to fly directly to Homer or take the shuttle, there are taxis and ride-share options in town, so you can avoid renting a car.

Flight
Anchorage International Airport
Anchorage is the easiest place to fly into. From there, rent a car or take a shuttle for a breathtaking 4-5 hour drive to Homer along the Seward and Sterling Highway. Connecting flights into Homer are also available.
