What does a Jewish wedding ceremony consist of?
Answer
Great question! Jewish weddings are a lot of fun. There are small ceremonies that we do to honor the day. First, we get married under the Chuppah which symbolizes the new home we will build together as a married couple. Throughout the ceremony, there will be some Hebrew prayers that will be recited or sung. At the end of the ceremony, Landon will smash a glass to remind us of the fragility of life. Before we eat dinner, the Kiddish will be recited to bless the Challah bread and wine. Finally, during the reception, Landon and Hailey will be hoisted up in chairs while everyone circles them. Don't worry, you won't be quizzed on this, and there will be an explanation of each part as a refresher!

What is the attire requested for the ceremony and reception?
Answer
Cocktail formal. While we love tuxedos and ball gowns, you can leave those in the closet and come in suits and cocktail dresses! The groom, however, has requested if you have fun sneakers (Jordans, Converse, Dunks, etc.), please wear them! #sneakerheads

Yes! Hotel Covington has a parking garage just across the street in addition to the plethora of street parking in the area.

What vendors are you working with?

A very important question to answer! The save the dates, invitations, and thank you card stationary was hand-designed by Kelsey Haver Designs with Daisy Market Co. Kelsey was one of Hailey's "kids" when she was a Resident Assistant, and she is thrilled to support Kelsey's small business. @KelseyHaverDesigns @ShopDaisyMarketCo Our photographer is the incredible Rosina Marie Photos, based out of Lexington, KY. @RosinaMariePhotos Our venue is The Madison Event Center with our hotel block at their sister property, Hotel Covington. The Madison handles our catering in-house, with the exception of our donut desserts which are from The Donut Spot in Fairfield, OH. @TheMadisonEventCenter @HotelCovington We rented 95% of our decor from Our Wedding Cabinet, based out of Walton, KY. This rental includes all of our greenery, except for the bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres which we built ourselves. @OurWeddingCabinet DJ Touche is from Martinsville, VA, and he provides not only our music, but also our uplighting and photobooth. @DJ_Touche Finally, hair and makeup services are from REFeyeANCE Hair & Makeup. They took care of our entire crew. @Refeyeance We cannot thank our vendors enough and are so thankful to work with them!
