We're getting married!

It's the summer of 2014. Hailey just graduated high school, Landon was heading into his senior year, and their mutual friend wanted to go to Heritage Elementary's playground at night. Listen, it's Ohio, it was this or hide-and-seek in Walmart. Anyways, Landon arrives to the playground before Hailey. As Hailey walks up, Landon runs over to greet her, pretending to already know her. Hailey is a theatre kid at heart and played along so well that Landon was a tad shocked. That night, Hailey and Landon joked, got to know each other, and snuck more than the occasional glance at the other. That summer, Hailey and Landon hung out quite a bit, but when summer ended, Hailey left to go to college and Landon went back to Lakota West High School. It's the summer 2015. Landon's sister, Tory, throws Landon a banger of a 19th birthday party which Hailey attends (and hazily remembers). This kicks off quite the rekindling for the pair. Hailey takes her trip to Israel, and the first person she sees upon her return to the U.S. (outside of her mom, of course) was Landon. That summer, Landon takes Hailey on a date to Graeters ice cream where he forgets to tell Hailey he thinks she looks pretty and calls her before even pulling out of the parking lot to let her know. The summer ends, and they talk less frequently. It's the summer of 2020. Five years have passed. The global pandemic is raging on. Hailey is having a few adult beverages with her mom and sister on July 4th when Landon, who is sitting in a peaceful nature preserve (definitely not under the influence...), sends her a text that says: "Hey Hailey it's been a while hope you're doing well." Hailey responds a bit later in the day, and the two have talked every single day since then. By August of that year, Hailey and Landon are FaceTime-ing every other day. By September, Landon asks if he can come visit, and in October, Hailey picks Landon up from the Philadelphia airport for a weekend visit in Lewes, Delaware. They make it official that weekend, and the pair begin long-distance dating. In December, Hailey meets Landon, Tory, and Kay halfway in Somerset, Pennsylvania for a weekend on a Bison farm. Landon comes back to Delaware to ring in the 2021 new year. Hailey goes to Cincinnati for Valentine's Day in 2021... and doesn't leave until the end of April. Landon goes to Delaware for his birthday in May 2021. Hailey moves to DC in June of 2021. Landon visits Hailey in DC in June of 2021. Then, Landon decides he's over it (not the relationship, omg, but like IT), so he moves to DC in August 2021. From there, Hailey and Landon merged lives, settled into a cozy apartment, adopted two perfect cats (Nati and Murray), and are so obsessed with one another it's sick. After two years of living together and three years of dating, Landon asked Hailey to marry him on Saturday, October 28th while sitting on the couch in Lewes, Delaware. The room was full, but no one was paying attention, and it made the moment that much more special for them. The couple cannot wait to celebrate their love with you on Saturday, March 08, 2025.
