If you wanted to spend some time outdoors, Shenandoah National Park has many beautiful hikes. One of Dustin and Sarah's first dates was a hike up Bearfence Mountain, a hike that we recommend highly. There are countless others along Skyline Drive, with a wide range of difficulty. Some have waterfalls, some rock scrambles, and some are more liesuely strolls. If you are interested, Dustin can give some more specific recommendations based on your interest and ability.
Charlottesville and the Downtown Mall go together like the colors orange and blue. The church where we will be married stands next to the mall. It has interesting shops, delicious food, and an outoor music venue that serves as a great picnic setting. Sarah grew up walking around this mall, and it was a popular place for counselors to go after a session of camp. Sarah and Dustin here went the evening after their engagment to celebrate. A few of our favorite spots: Marco and Luca's: Dumplings, a Charlottesville staple Christian's Pizza: thin crust, the size of your face Southstreet Brewery: some of Dustin's favorite beer Draft Taphouse: pour-your-own style bar Bluegrass Grille: Amazing breakfast, not ideal for a large group, and only accepts cash.
