Question

What is a Black Tie Affair?

Answer

A black tie affair is a formal event where attendees are expected to dress in very elegant and sophisticated attire. For men, this typically means wearing a black tuxedo, a formal white dress shirt, a black bow tie, and formal black shoes. Women usually wear evening gowns or other long, formal dresses. The term "black tie" refers to the traditional black bow tie that men wear with their tuxedos. Such events are often associated with galas, formal dinners, weddings, and other high-end social gatherings. We kindly request that all guests wear BLACK. To correlate with the true essence of the black tie affair we request that men wear a white button up under their black Tuxedo. THE DRESS CODE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Are we allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

No, at this time there are no plus ones allowed. This is an intimate celebration and we would like to ensure we are able to celebrate with our close family and friends. Please RSVP by November 24th 2024. Although we wish to celebrate with you all, we know that it is not always possible and we COMPLETELY understand. A "no-reply" notification will be sent to those that will not be in attendance for our special day.
