Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Barrett Redmond and Daniel Nelli
We wanted a wedding weekend filled with activities that showcase all that Jackson has to offer - hiking, climbing, whitewater rafting, and more! Trust us, you will not run out of things to do. We've compiled a list of fun activities to do and see while you're in Wyoming with us. We hope there's something for everyone!

Raft the Snake River

Take a scenic float through Grand Teton National Park, or ride the wild class II and III rapids through the Snake River Canyon. If you're interested in white water rafting with our friends and family on Saturday, let us know on our activity interest form! Rent Mountain or Road Bikes

Hoback Sports in the town of Jackson will get you all geared up for an awesome day of single-track riding. The local favorite spot is Cache Creek. Wheel Wranglers is a great option for touring bikes, and they'll provide you with a map of the town bike paths. They also rent electric bikes! There is an absolutely stunning bike path (relatively flat!) from the town of Jackson that goes directly to the park with gorgeous views of the Tetons the entire ride - would highly recommend!

Hike in Grand Teton National Park

The options are endless for short excursions and epic adventures in the park! Some of our favorite hikes include the Jenny Lake Loop (tag on Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point), Taggart and Bradley Lakes, String and Leigh Lake, Phelps Lake (don't miss the cliff jumping rock!), Delta Lake, Amphitheater and Surprise Lakes, Cascade Canyon, Paintbrush Canyon, Garnet Canyon (to see the central Tetons up close and personal), and Lake Solitude. Make sure you pack all of the necessary supplies, including food, water, and bear spray (we have a few cans we can share). If you're interested in hiking with our friends and family on Saturday, let us know on our activity interest form! Hike Up Snow King

Hike up this 3.8-mile out-and-back trail in the Snow King ski resort at the heart of Jackson, Wyoming. Don't be fooled by the distance- generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of about 2+ hours to complete this very popular, town-accessible trail. The altitude will get your heart pumping, but the views are amazing!

Go Horseback Riding

Wind through mountain pastures and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Ride into the Bridger Teton National Forest, climb 2,000 vertical feet, and have views of the Hoback and Snake River Canyon areas in addition to the Teton Range. Mill Iron Ranch is rated the #1 two-hour trail ride in the United States! If you're interested in going horseback riding with our friends and family on Saturday, let us know on our activity interest form! Take a Wildlife Tour

Learn about the Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone ecosystem from the best naturalists in the valley. On a half-day, 4-hour wildlife ecotour, you will have the opportunity to observe bears, moose, elk, buffalo, deer, wolves, and more!

Go to the Jackson Hole Rodeo

The excitement starts at 8pm on Wednesday and Friday. Enjoy a true slice of Wyoming cowboy heritage!

Visit the Jackson Hole Farmer's Market

Check out the Saturday morning farmers market right on the town square from 8am-12pm!

Ride in a Hot Air Balloon

We've never done this before, but wanted to add this to our list because it seems like an incredible way to see the Tetons!

Eat & Drink

There are so many good restaurants and cafes around downtown Jackson. Here are some of our favorite spots: BRUNCH Persephone Bakery: Cutie bakery with indoor/outdoor patio seating serving coffee, pastries, delicious breakfast and lunch! Cafe Genevieve: Brunch spot with a fun patio, conveniently located right next to Persophone Bakery! Famous for their candied bacon. D.O.G.: Small, no-frills stand serving great breakfast burritos! LUNCH & DINNER Creekside Market: No-frills, local convenience store with a great deli for MYO sandwiches to take to the park. Dornans: Located just outside the park, great spot to grab a beer post-hike! Glorietta Trattoria: Upscale Italian spot serving handmade pasta and great cocktails! Orsetto: Delicious Italian food and located right off the town square! King Sushi: I know what you're thinking... sushi? In a land-locked state? Just trust us! The Silver Dollar Bar: Great spot for a beer and some live music!
